Here’s Mitt’s big problem:
Last year, he’s quoted basically saying “I would have let GM and Chrysler die”. Incidentally while he isn’t visiting Michigan.
Now, he’s running adds, writing OP-EDs, and giving interviews saying “the bailout worked and the President followed my advice and suggestions” for how GM and Chrysler were handled. While he is motoring around the state.
Mr. “I’ll Say Anything to Get Elected” has to understand that even though us Michiganders maybe aren’t as slick as the rest of the country, we tend to remember when someone suggests cavalierly that we have 25% of the state’s population lose their jobs.
But then again, I wouldn’t vote for any of those idiots.
Here’s my take: She always looks this way - the bugged out eyes I mean. She’s obviously had some “work” done which just accentuates the look. But and old photographer’s trick would have been to have her drop her chin just a bit. Setup? Maybe. Completely objective? Probably not. But she is a little nuts…Surprise: People find Newsweek’s Bachmann photo unflattering
No kidding: Newsweek’s cover on Rep. Michele Bachmann, the 2012 presidential candidate, has caused quite a stir on the interwebs over the past couple of days. It’s even inspired a couple of memes, though it’s mostly inspired anger over the magazine’s approach. Example: Terry O’Brien, the president of the National Organization for Women, said that “‘Queen of Rage’ is something you apply to wrestlers or somebody who is crazy.” Was this photo the best choice for the magazine’s cover? Take a look at the magazine’s own outtakes and judge for yourself. source
